You are invited to sell, shop or dine at the 27th Annual Folk Art Fair on November 17th Sturgeon Bay YMCA Center! This art show is designed as an opportunity for talented artists from across the midwest to display and sell works to eager holiday shoppers. This event also serves as a fundraiser for the YMCA's Youth in Government Program. Last year, 62 diverse vendors, hundreds of shoppers, and some very grateful Youth in Government students benefited from the event. Thanks to the eager shoppers and sellers, the "YIG Kids" were able to attend a four day legislative session at the state capitol! Join us again this year as a shopper or art vendor in November.
Interested artists may download an application HERE. Please note, this year the fair will be a JURIED art fair and interested artists are required to submit samples for review. Send your completed resume and submissions to Madelyn DePrey at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1900 Michigan Street, Sturgeon Bay, WI. Thank you!
Founded in 1947, the YMCA Youth in Government is a nationwide program that provides students in grades 7th-12th an opportunity to experience the democratic process firsthand. Proceeds from the Folk Art Fair make it possible for Youth in Government students to attend a four-day legislative session in Madison each spring.
