Swim ClassAQUALITE - Ages 13+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
A great water aerobics class for seniors, or those just getting back into exercise.  You do not need to know how to swim to enjoy this class.


AQUAFIT - Ages 13+ (Sturgeon Bay)
A fast paced water aerobics class designed to burn calories and improve strength.  You do not need to know how to swim to enjoy this class.


AQUAPEUTICS - Ages 13+ (Northern Door)
Gentle and therapeutic water exercise for people who are post rehabilitation and have muscle stiffness, joint soreness, and can benefit from toning and range of motion exercises.


H2O FIT - TRY IT - Ages 18+ (Northern Door)
Come and learn the correct way to use our water fitness equipment .  Bill Wegehaupt will show you the proper technique for using the hand bars and noodles in the water.  He will run the class through a sample workout you can adapt to your needs and do on your own when you come into the pool, missed your regular class or just can't come during a regularly scheduled class.  Bill was a physical education teacher for over 30 years, so come and learn from someone who knows muscles and conditioning.  Students should be comfortable in deep water.


KAYAKING - Ages 13+ (Northern Door)
Always wanted to kayak, but don't know how?  Here is your chance to learn the basics of paddling, or to refresh your skills.  Skill and safety training included.  Equipment and instructor provided by Bayshore Outdoor Store.


OVER YOUR HEAD - Ages 13+ (Sturgeon Bay)
This is a deep water cardio/strengthing water workout with no impact!  Use jog belts, dumbbells and noodles.  Participants must be very comfortable in deep water.


PILAQUA - Ages 13+ (Sturgeon Bay and Northern Door)
Take your Pilates moves to the pool and enjoy this entry level fitness class that focuses on your core muscles and we will add some challenging Yoga poses and Ai'Chi moves at the end of class.  Participants should be comfortable in the water.


TRIATHLETE SWIM FOR BEGINNERS - Ages 13+ (Northern Door)
Do you have some of the basics down for swimming, but need to improve stroke technique and conditioning?  This class is for you.  Casey St. Henry, American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and triathlete will work with you on skills, strategies, and conditioning for preparing for your triathlon.


TWINGES IN THE HINGES - Ages 13+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
A doctors release is required.  A recreational exercise program designed to accomodate individuals with arthritis and other related diseases.  Taught in a group setting with activities and exercises to encourage self care, provide social interaction, improve muscular strength, endurance and flexibility, maintain independence, manage pain and relieve symptoms of arthritis.  You do not need to know how to swim to enoy this class.


WATER WALKERS - Ages 13+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Get all of the benefits of walking without stressing your joints!  Participants have access to the recreational pool only during designated times - use of the remainder of the YMCA facilities is not included in the fee.
