Youth Swim

Kids SwimmingPOLLIWOG - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Swimmers will be taught bobs, front and back float, glidewith kick, they will be introduced to arm movements and rotary breathing. 
POLLIWOG 2 - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Swimmers will perfect floating, kicking and overarm skills.  Endurance will be increased in kicking and over arm recovery.
GUPPY 1 - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Swimmers will learn to float front and back for 1 minute.  Kick 50 yards front and back.  Swim 25 yards front crawl non-stop.  Elementary backstroke, back crawl and kneeling dives will be introduced.
GUPPY 2 - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Swimmers will learn to float front and back for 1 1/2  minutes.  Kick 50 yards front and back.  Swim 50 yards front crawl non-stop in good form.  Elementary backstroke, back crawl and kneeling dives, standing dives will be accomplished.
MINNOW - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Endurance is increased in the front crawl and back stroke.  Good form in the elementary back stroke will be accomplished; standing dive will be accomplished.  Dolphin kick will be introduced.
FISH - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Front crawl in good form non-stop for 200 yards must be accomplished along with  back stroke and elementary back stroke in good form.  Breast stroke will be worked on.  Butterfly stroke will be introduced.
FLYING FISH - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Endurance will increase in all strokes.  Stroke technique will be a focus.  Diving techniques will be a focus.  Diving techniques will be a focus.
SHARK - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay & Northern Door)
Endurance in all strokes will be greatly increased.  All strokes have to be completed non-stop for the required yardage.
DIVING DYNAMICS - Ages 6+ (Sturgeon Bay only)
Tom Stover  will teach this beginning diving class that focuses on the fundamentals including the 3-step approach and hurdle.  Basic dives will be introduced.  For swimmers minnow level or above.
