Why volunteer at the Door County YMCA?
The role of the volunteer distinguishes the Y as a place where
everyone can take an active role in bringing about meaningful, enduring change in the community.
Volunteers fulfill the YMCA mission in a variety of ways, from raising funds for our annual Strong Kids Campaign, to teaching youth sports and leading fitness classes.
The Door County YMCA would not be able to serve the entire community without the help of the over 600 volunteers that help us each year. While serving your community you will also gain new skills and abilities and inherit a network of friends through YMCA staff, members and other volunteers.
